PLANS TO CREATE A SENIOR CITIZEN PARTNERSHIP
We will be meeting with representatives of the 5 local sheltered complexes and other senior citizens projects to establish a Garthdee seniors partnership.
This partnership will give people control and a say over how Inchgarth supports them and spends funding secured on their behalf.
This partnership will also encourage people to interact with others from different parts of the community and promote ownership of the projects run on their behalf.
This project will promote good practice and empower local people.
A formal partnership will also give older people a voice in the community and better prospects of attracting funding to run social events and meet their needs.
