NEW SOCIAL DAYS FUNDED BY ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL- managed by Inchgarth

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THE START OF TWO EXCELLENT NEW PROJECTS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

STARTING MAY 29TH OUR FRIDAY SOCIAL DAYS KICK OFF AT 1.30PM. THESE EVENTS WILL BE FREE AND CONSIST OF DIFFERENT ENTERTAINERS EACH WEEK WITH A SMALL LIGHT BUFFET AVAILABLE AFTERWARDS

WE LOOK FORWARD TO THIS PROJECT AND INVITE YOU ALL TO JOIN US FOR PLENTY FUN AND GOOF COMPAMY. WE HAVE BOOKED IN SOME FUN AND GREAT ENTERTAINERS, BE SURE NOT TO MISS THEM.

Our third special needs disco will be a halloween affair, feel free to dress up in fancy dress and remember to tell your friends.

This success proves there is a massive demand for such social evenings and in partnership with CREATE we will be running more discos in the near future with the disco expected to be a monthly affair.

so get your dancing shoes on and be prepared to have an amazing night of fun at Inchgarth. Our disco lights which can be seen in the "HIRE US" section above ensures a brilliant atmosphere for all. Here's to more discos and fun.

We are delighted to announce the launch of our Friday Free For all social days.

This project is funded by Aberdeen city council social care fund where Inchgarth applied for a grant and due to the importance and strength of our bid we were supported to deliver this excellent initiative.

Every Friday from 1.30pm we will book different entertainment from singing groups, magicians and discos. There will also be a light buffet each Friday.

Please email or call us now to have your organisation placed on the mailing list to recieve the program of events. It promises to be fun and promoted real inclusion as the local pensioners will be invited to join the project.

So what's on offer and how does it work ?

SPECIAL NEEDS DISCO next one Friday 30th oct

Youth group for 16-25 year olds. By vsa. & under 16's

Every Saturday during term time VSA run a youth club for 16-25 year olds with various learning disabilities. They use the vast range of facilities that Inchgarth offers which ensures every young person has fun and interacts with other centre users.

We have just added a second day on a Tuesday for the younger age group. Once again showing our commitment to people with disabilities.

The facilities of the centre will be available from 10am-5pm Monday to Thursday while on a friday 10am-12.30pm and 2pm-5pm.

The cost of entry is £1.00 and you have access to all of our facilities. If you attend an organised class you would be expected to pay the cost that helps us pay the tutors wages.

If you want to use the internet coffee shop only there is no cost for entry or access if you purchase items from our cafe.

You will find the range of equipment excellent, there is something for all.

Social events, coffee mornings, entertainment

Inchgarth holds regular coffee mornings with entertainment where we encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to attend, socialise, have fun and mingle.

MUSIC THERAPY BY GEMMA MURTON

Gemma Murton runs a music therapy session each Tuesday for people with profound disabilities.

We hope to have Gemma deliver more sessions at the centre in the coming year.
